Wendy Forrester is an attorney, mediator and legal educator. Wendy maintains a private mediation practice with a focus on family mediation. Wendy has practiced law since 1985. With over 25 years of experience as a mediator, Wendy brings extensive expertise in mediation and the law to resolve family issues, including dissolution, child custody, the division of property and support. Wendy served as the Associate Director of California Lawyers for the Arts where she resolved arts and entertainment related disputes. Wendy trained mediators and law students to resolve arts and business related disputes. As leader in the field of mediation, Wendy serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern California Mediation Association. Wendy teaches mediation courses at University of California, Santa Barbara, Extension, including the Family Mediation course. Wendy has trained mediators and lectured widely on mediation at law schools, bar associations and professional organizations. As a family mediator, Wendy seeks to resolve issues in a manner that is compassionate and maintains the dignity and security for each member of the family.
